The western flank of the Alhambra, leading down to the Darro River, is a mysterious, forgotten neighbourhood known as La Churra. You can reach it from the Plaza Nueva, by the Church of Santa Ana, or by crossing the Puente de Espinosa or the Puente de Cabrera, over the Darro.
